As a journalist, one of the least attractive jobs going is to be the editor of Press Gazette. Imagine it - thousands of hacks dissecting your magazine every week. (That's if they ever pick the thing up, which certainly wasn't the case during Piers Morgan's brief ownership of the title). But I digress.

It was with a certain amount of admiration that we learned that Daniel Quint had been appointed the new finance director of the ICAEW. So, hats off to Mr Quint ...he's certainly not afraid of a challenge.
