So Gordon Brown has invited the Pope to Britain. Is that so he can give the country the last rites?

So Gordon Brown has invited the Pope to Britain. Is that so he can give the country the last rites?

The last rites may well be right, especially with news out that UK taxpayers may be liable for £500bn of poor loans and investments made by Royal Bank of Scotland and Lloyds TSB.
Talk about the guy clutching at straws! I certainly have little faith in Gordon Brown - maybe the Pope may be a better option!
